Mixed Media art is create an art piece that incorporates different forms of art.  Mixed media breaks the boundaries of art by combining different pieces.  For a canvas artist, they can combine oil paintings with paint paintings.  They can also mix paintings with embroidery.  For digital artists, they could print out pictures and color behind or on the pictures.  Some examples of mixed media art are collages, printmaking, origami, and sculptures.
