Guiding Question:

My Sustained Investigation focuses on the topic of Param Shanti, eternal peace. There are three parts to Param Shanti: love, faith, and humility. I’m focusing on my former leader, Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s life.  Love, faith, and humility are all part of his life; he dedicated his life to help others achieve eternal peace. He has dedicated his entire life to the servitude of God and the servitude of others. During his 100th Birthday Celebration in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, millions of volunteers dedicated countless hours to create a “town”. Here, they created a 45’ statue of Pramukh Swami Maharaj and his ten most popular hand gestures made out of bamboo.

 

Along with focusing on Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s life, I wanted to show the impact he has had on other people around the world. The values of love, faith, and humility are characteristics that are not seen together everyday but for the people touched by Pramukh Swami Maharaj, these values are imbibed into their daily lives.
